I just love Dennis Kucinich. Maybe part of it is because he is familiar to me. I have heard his name since I was little, circa the 1970’s, as a kid in Cleveland Heights. But I think it is more than that. To hear a person running for president speak his truth like he does, not fearful of how his words will “play out politically”, not always strategizing every word for the corporate interests that he will (not) be serving once in the White House – these are the things I love about him. He is a peaceful warrior with a sense of humor. And his message, of course, makes perfect sense.
I know he is little and his suit’s don’t fit, but isn’t that better than the tailored suit-wearing clowns we turn to time and time again to lead this country? I think so.

If it was a Robert Redford in “The Candidate” kind of guy speaking these truths, people would soak it up like cold beer in a hot bar. At least some people would.

I love Mr. Kucinich too! I saw this interview with my special favorite Bill Maher earlier this summer. His views are exactly mine. Mr. Redford in the candidate is a fine piece of man, but that does not explain the current monkey buffoon in office right now. Prez Bush has always looked like a creepy, sadistic, stupid, cowboy-wannabe, elf to me. The question is, would America want to have a beer with Mr. Kucinich. That’s how you win elections!

well hopefully that means trouble for Mitt Romney then!

Although I admire his candidness, it is that plus his unwillingness to build allegiances with those controlling large amounts of money that will prevent him, perhaps unfortunately, from having the slightest chance of winning the primary and therefore being able to run in the Presidential election. Kind of a sad commentary, eh?

The Gare,
I hear you all the way on Dennis. Yet, one day “the people” could choose to rise up and challenge “the way things are.” Voting allows us a peaceful revolution, we just need to do it en masse, so no amount of chicanery can undue the results.
